After going out on my own from my position as a Senior Copywriter for a prominent advertising agency in 2008, I have worked as a freelance copy editor and proofreader for many clients, including one of San Diego’s top PR firms (since 2012). I have written and edited thousands of press releases, pitches, web sites, eblasts and edited many award-winning authors’ manuscripts both for spelling and grammar (line editing) and content.

I prefer to work at an hourly rate, which is $65 hour for most projects. I can give a pretty accurate cost estimate to my clients before I take on an assignment, so they know what it will run them to use my services. I am well below industry rates, considering the amount of experience I have, and the speed at which I work.
